MIC B12 is the classic lipotropic injection: methionine, inositol and choline (the MIC trio) with vitamin B12, sold here as a ready-to-use vendor blend that lists the choline as CDP-choline (citicoline) and the B12 as methylcobalamin. Weight-loss clinics and med spas have offered compounded versions of this shot since at least the early 2010s, usually with cyanocobalamin and choline chloride, and the legacy sheet gives no amounts per millilitre; compounding-pharmacy versions typically carry 25-100 mg methionine, 50-100 mg inositol, 50-100 mg choline and 500-1,000 mcg B12 per mL. The ingredients have real roles in liver fat export and one-carbon metabolism, but no controlled trial has tested the combined injection for weight or fat loss, it has no FDA approval, and the only human data below concern single ingredients given at much larger daily doses, mostly to people who were deficient.
